This is a bird with a headache -- no- make that a migraine. He is one of the many that have tried to fly through our kitchen or sewing room windows. This one made the attempt, fell to the sidewalk and I'm sure had the worst headache he's ever had. I really didn't think he was going to pull through and I watched him off and on for an hour...wondering how to get him to take a baby aspirin. Poor thing. I even went out and talked to him, but it didn't seem to help. When Wayne came home at noon he had recovered enough to fly away. Mari, our youngest daughter is going to wash our windows this afternoon, so we'll see if that helps to discourage these little things from dive bombing them. Still wondering what kind of bird it is. Some look a little darker on top. What do you give a little bird with an eagle size headache?
